Patricia is an designer with expertise in period interiors, Castle Hills being a good example. Before coming to Castle Hills they restored
Ampthill Park House in Bedfordshire and Cairness in Aberdeenshire,…………………..…..

Both are experts on British antiques, Philip is the acknowledged expert on English Teawares and has published 3 books on the subject………………..

They live at Castle Hills House, Berwick upon Tweed, with their elderly cat Caro (Her companion Tigger died on 21st March 2011) Sadly we have to announce the death in July 2010 of Percy the last of the Castle Hills peacocks, but a replacement is being sought…

Philip and Patricia take an active part in local cultural activities the above photos were taken at events to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the death of Robert Stephenson. This year they organised a Victorian weekend at the Palace Green Pavilion on June 25th/26th. Including on the evening of 25th a concert where one of the period pianos from their collection was played

Philip has served as trustee and chairman of the Berwick Community Trust and has been chairman and is now vice chairman of the Berwick –upon –Tweed Civic Society.

 

He is the organiser of the Berwick Building study group
