Situated on the bank of the River Tweed adjacent to the site of Berwick Castle, Castle Hills dates from the early part of the nineteenth century, in the Gothic revival style of the Regency Period. It is at first sight every child's idea of a castle complete with battlements and towers, but internally it is a typical Regency Villa.
Berwick-upon-Tweed has recently become Britains 6th town to be awarded Cittaslow status. It is a place where quality of life is important and where visitors become temporary residents
In a busy world Castle Hills offers a haven of tranquility and yet is only a 20 minute walk along the river bank to the Town, and the railway station. It stands in 5 acres of densely wooded grounds on the banks of the River Tweed
